The separation has been stabilized with archival filmoplast repair tape. The etching is toned with an acid burn mark at the center. Measures 3 3/4" x 5 3/4." - $125
John Finlayson: "The Right Hon. Gertrude Viscountess Villiers" after F. Calze, published April 20, 1773, London. Bold Mezzotint engraved portrait with a few wrinkles in the central top portion, probably caused from having been rolled. The plate mark was impressed strongly into the paper, causing some splitting along the platemark; there are also some old tape repairs along these splits. Sheet measures 22" x 16 1/2." - $225

On the right edge there is a 1 1/4" tear which just reaches the plate mark, and at the upper left-hand corner there is a diagonal fold 1 1/4." Sheet is 20" x 28;" Image is 18" x 23 1/2." - $1500

There is also light window toning along the top of the image 1/2" within the border and along the bottom 1/2" outside the border line. There is some slight puckering along the top edge and a light stain 3/4" x 1/2" between the plate mark and left border line. A 3/4" diagonal loss is at the bottom left corner. Sheet is 20 1/2" x 26 3/4;" Image is 18" x 23 1/2." - $1500
